Writing in my journal has been one of the best habits I’ve incorporated into my life for many reasons. Among them, it gives me the opportunity to become aware of my habits, actions and to be honest with myself about them.

✔ Write without stopping, just allow your words to pour out
✔ Don’t worry about spelling or punctuation
✔ Be honest, it’s the only way to grow
✔ Be willing to write about & explore other topics that come up during your writing sessions
✔ Set aside dedicated time, don’t try to squeeze it in between tasks
✔ Don’t judge or belittle yourself
✔ Date your journal entries so you can keep track and stay organized
✔ Be open to the process. You might not see the benefit now, but start writing and give it a chance.
